C5BDI Attending DON IT Conference East in May 2023!
Mark Longe and Jeremy Andrews, of C5BDI, are attending the DON IT Conference East from May 16th – 18th in Norfolk, VA. This conference shares information and aligns the Department of the Navy with the strategic objectives of the Information Superiority Vision (ISV), such as modernizing infrastructure, innovating and deploying new capabilities, and defending information. The conference also encourages innovation and best-value IT/cyberspace solutions, and provides IT-related training to earn credits toward continuous learning. Additionally, the conference allows the DON IT community to hear from DON IT leadership directly and gain valuable insights into solutions to IT challenges. Today we’d like to spotlight our C5BDI team member, Brock Moody! Brock is one of our Capture Leads and joined the company this last September of 2022! To give you a little more background on Brock, he Graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and received the General Douglas MacArthur Cadet of the Year Award. C5BDI Continues Giveback Program w/ METAvivor & Their MBC Research!
The C5BDI pay it forward initiative and giveback program is ongoing, and the team recently pledged resources and funding to support Metavivor. Metavivor is a nonprofit organization committed to funding research and finding a cure for metastatic breast cancer (MBC), which is the deadliest form of breast cancer. The organization’s mission is to help improve the quality of life for patients with MBC and increase awareness about the disease. Founded in 2009 by a small group of women living with MBC, Metavivor has grown into a national organization that advocates for more research funding and support for patients.
