Vet First, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is the latest to receive in our giveback program, thanks to Colton Watkins of C5BDI who suggested this organization. Vet First Inc. is dedicated to creating a world where they honor our nation’s heroes and where food is abundant for all. “A country in which we honor and support those that have served and protected our freedoms and where food is easily accessible to those in need.”
They hire Veterans to farm and work the land to grow crops, which they give to local food banks and those in need. Vet First offers organic farming practices that are sustainable and an opportunity for its Veterans to find solace in knowing they are giving back and making a difference. This improves physical and mental wellness, and truly honors and integrates Veterans into the fabric of what makes our nation so great.
Vet First is raising funds to run power to the farm to increase efficiency and productivity for our vets’ day-to-day work. To learn more or donate to their cause, click on the link here –> https://vetfirstinc.com/donate/.
Their overall mission is to donate 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) pounds of food by 2032 by hiring U.S. Veterans to grow food through organic and sustainable farming practices. Vet First, Inc. finished out 2022 by donating over 2,500 lbs of fresh food/produce!
