C5BDI continues our giveback program with Team IMPACT. Thank you to Mark Longe of our team who suggested this organization. Team IMPACT is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit that connects children facing serious or chronic illnesses with college athletic teams, forming lifelong bonds and life-changing outcomes. Team IMPACT is a 2021 FOS “Best Employers in Sports” winner, a certified “Great Place to Work”, and is currently ranked 100/100 in all of Charity Navigators, presently available “Star rating”.
The only U.S. nonprofit that helps children with severe or chronic illness overcome acute social and emotional isolation by matching them with a college athletic team for inclusion and purpose, Team IMPACT’s two-year clinically-based plan for each child completes the full circle of healing and results in relationships and skills that last a lifetime. In the words of a participating mother, “This program has done what no medicine ever could, it has put a smile back on my boy’s face, and laughter back into his life.”
Founded in 2011, Team IMPACT has matched more than 2,000 children with 700+ colleges and universities in 48 states, impacting more than 60,000 student-athletes.

Andrew Frech is the head of marketing for C5BDI and has been working under the company since the beginning of 2022. Andrew previously worked in the real estate field, beginning his career as a Realtor at 22, then transitioning to Homes.com to take over as their head of marketing for Social Fuel, a marketing solution for real estate agents. Andrew currently works as the head of marketing for companies C5BDI, Vet First Inc., and Sports Innovation X.
