In C5BDI’s recent giveback, we donated to Samaritan’s Purse. Thank you to Tina Bove from the team who suggested this cause! Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people worldwide. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet the needs of victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine to share God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.
For 40 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done their utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. Their emergency relief programs provide desperately needed assistance to victims of natural disasters, war, disease, and famine. As they offer food, water, and temporary shelter, Samaritan’s Purse meets critical needs and gives people a chance to rebuild their lives. Their community development and vocational programs in impoverished villages and neighborhoods help people break the cycle of poverty and give them hope for a better tomorrow. They impact the lives of vulnerable children through educational, feeding, clothing, and shelter programs that let them know they are not forgotten. Samaritan’s Purse provides first-class treatment in the Name of the Great Physician through their medical projects and supplies mission hospitals with much-needed equipment and supplies.
