Prague, Czech Republic was the next stop on the EU BD Summer Tour 2017. After leaving Dresden our team rolled in via train to Prague, a beautiful and lively city filled with entrepreneurs. A highlight of the trip was a visit with CzechBio. CzechBio aims to support the development of biotechnologies and to serve as a national platform representing the interest of this sector in the Czech Republic.
Another aim of the association is to accelerate and facilitate development and strengthen commercial activities of biotechnological organizations throughout the Czech Republic and intensify communication among all key players in biotechnology the Czech Republic. This entails not only communication among commercial partners, but also the support of communication among commercial and academic sphere. A part and parcel of the association’s activities is to work on joint projects and possibly use subsidies to support the competitiveness of individual members and their joint projects.
