This MBSE implementation can manage predicted component Mean Time Between Failure #MTBF values, Mean Time To Repair #MTTR values and updates automate failure mode to failure effects to predict reliability at system, platform, and/or mission perspectives, enabling engineers to evaluate design change impacts to predicted availability. This #NextGen innovation fits failure data to a distribution function to estimate expected failure rates. The solution interfaces directly with MBSE systems models to update failure rates as new data becomes available.
