Dodging the G20 summit raucous our team found Hamburg quiet and settled down as we rolled into Hamburg, Germany. Although the city was recovering from an unfortunate weekend of violence and protest, the people were just as optimistic and cheerful as ever. We had great meetings with players in both the commercial and federal space. With aditerna, we discussed their game changing Modeling and Simulation (M&S) software for exercise planning and scenario development. Meeting aditerna at NATO’s NITEC 2017 in Ottawa, Canada earlier in the year, our team was able to get a better understanding of this game changing technology. This software is insightful, includes future prediction and is very promising for future NATO/EU MoD/USAF requirements. We wish aditerna the best of luck!

Other meetings included in-depth discussions with Hamburg Innovation and Niedersachsen Aviation. Finding opportunities to partner in US States – Washington State, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia were intriguing. Collaboration and sharing information across the C5BDI ecosystem via partnership with our EU cluster colleagues opens unlimited doors for growth acceleration.

We look forward to the continued follow-ups, engagements and business opportunities.

Next stop Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmo, Sweden.
