Our pay it forward, C5BDI giveback continues! Our team recently committed resources and funding to support Folds of Honor. This foundation started with Lt Col Dan Rooney after returning home from his second tour in Iraq. Rooney was an F-16 fighter pilot in the Air Force Reserves when he returned home with the remains of Corporal Brock Bucklin. It was this homecoming that made Rooney painfully aware of the reality the families face when a loved one in uniform is fallen or disabled. In 2007, he formed the Folds of Honor Foundation, providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. The foundation believes the motto says it best: Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy. Of course, we thank team-member, John Ensey, for recommending this great cause!
