C5BDI connects USAF and Leesburg, VA based small business for an AFWERX SBIR Phase II. Bombers have a national defense-related mission need in the area of strategic deterrence. Specifically, reliable maintenance of bomber aircraft is critical to success of that area. The main goal of this project is the development of an autonomous Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) application to improve bomber maintenance reliability and lower overall costs. This will ultimately lead to increased aircraft sortie production that will enhance bombers core deterrence mission.
