Our pay it forward, C5BDI giveback continues! Our team recently committed resources and funding to support Mercy Medical Angels, which helps provide medical transportation for those in need. Its mission is to remove the barrier to medical care with medical transportation on the ground and in the air and ensure that no one is ever denied medical care because they don’t have transportation.
Mercy Medical Angels was founded in 1972 when four men in Washington, D.C. began offering free transportation in a small airplane to medical care for those in need. Over the years, donations have made it possible for Mercy Medical Angels to expand, meet new needs and offer different modes of transportation to where it is now the nation’s largest provider of charitable transportation for those in need. Charitable participation has ensured that Mercy Medical Angels has never compromised the highest standards of operational integrity and efficiency, transportation safety, public transparency, and accountability. Through forty-eight years of continuous service, Mercy Medical Angels have kept a perfect safety record.
