Our pay it forward, C5BDI giveback continues! Our team recently committed resources and funding to support Vet First, Inc.. Thank you very much to our Founders Cierra & Michael Weatherly from our team for recommending such an outstanding cause. Vet First is committed to hiring our nation’s Veterans to grow organic food, that is then given back for free to local communities. This amazing organization was started by Cierra and Michael in order to further extend their passion of giving back and serving Veterans, and those in need. They are currently utilizing their Farm Winery at Ecco Adesso Vineyards in the Shenandoah Valley, VA as a test bed to role out the concept. So far this year alone, Vet First has donated 700+ pounds of food to the Lexington Food Bank. They are currently looking to grow this operation with the purchase of larger equipment, installation of a hoop house, and other field activities for additional interested Veterans. It’s so exciting to see this vision taking shape!
