Our pay it forward, C5BDI giveback continues! Our team recently committed resources and funding to support the VA Special Olympics. The Special Olympics mission remains as vital today as it did when the movement was founded 50 years ago in 1968. The organization provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This gives them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
