Our pay it forward, C5BDI giveback initiative continues with our recent donation to the United Way of South Hampton Roads. This local United Way chapter helps our most vulnerable neighbors by providing shelters for children, programs for the disabled, and meals for the low-income elderly. In an effort to help all children succeed, they support the whole child, driving success in schools by improving their lives outside of the classroom. They also provide support during a crisis, which can happen to anyone, and will always provide a safety net of essential and urgent services.
The United Way practices Collective Impact — “working together to identify problems too big for any of us to solve on our own”. Thank you very much to James Mershon from our team for recommending such an outstanding cause! If you would like to learn more about this organization, please visit: www.unitedwayshr.org
