Our pay it forward, C5BDI giveback continues! Our team recently committed resources and funding to support Hampton Roads St. Jude hospital. Their mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Their vision is no child will be denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Furthermore, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because they believe families should only worry about helping their child live. Overall, St. Jude, opening more than 50 years ago, invented treatments that have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%! As equally important we thank team-member, James Mershon, for recommending this great cause!
