C5BDI is proud to connect #Richmond, VA small business to a United States Army Expeditionary Technology Search (xTechSearch 5) WP prize. The Virtual Exam Room (VER) Aggregation Services Routers (ASR) platform will provide Army medics with a cutting-edge ability to conduct a complete virtual exam of a patient anywhere on the globe. It also provides field medics with critical reach back capability to doctors and specialists. This requirement becomes critical when medics are tasked with providing Prolonged Field Care to critically injured patients in an austere environment. VER will allow doctors and medics to work “side-by-side” to keep patients alive with real-time consultations and secure transmission of critical patient data. By further integrating the ASR technology into the COTS VER platform, the Army will have a field-ready, cost-effective way of assessing traumatic brain injuries and mitigating the effects of post-traumatic stress.
