C5BDI connects Middleburg, Virginia small business and the University of Massachusetts, Lowell to an AFWERX Phase I Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) contract award. The proposed solution will provide feasibility analysis, modeling, and simulation results that support a hybrid Global Positioning System (GPS) Enhanced Long Range Navigation (eLORAN), capable of detecting jamming and spoofing on GPS. It is the most powerful and cost effective back-up/co-primary technology for GPS/GNSS resilience and protection of Critical Infrastructure. The solution is also capable of being used in electronic Vertical Takeoff and Landing/ Urban Air Mobility (eVTOL/UAM) operations, e.g., disaster response, humanitarian aid, and logistics missions.
