Solar Roadways has just won the xTech SBIR Clean Energy Pitch with the US Army! The xTech competition is designed to help innovative companies, such as Solar Roadways, bring forth new technology to help continue efforts for a sustainable future. Solar Roadways tech is specifically designed to generate clean renewable energy on roadways and any other surface that can be walked or driven upon and then collect the substantial solar energy which hits these surfaces but is currently not being utilized.
They are now invited to submit a Direct to Phase II SBIR addressing clean energy needs of the Army. We are excited to see the future possibilities that this effort will bring forth. Congratulations again to Solar Roadways!
