C5BDI connects USAF and Rochester, MN based small business for an STTR Phase I contract. This company has developed, in conjunction with prestigious clinicians, a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) along with an actionable Heads Up Display (HUD) to help military medics and civilian emergency medical personnel provide instant, telehealth communications between the medic and physicians in real-time, hands-free. Regardless of location, emergency medical personnel can call up and display protocols, verify medicines, directly consult with physicians while tending to the patient in real-time through live feed camera interactions, and begin to complete an electronic medical record prior to transport. Further R&D to meet mission needs make this a high priority option for Airmen and Warfighters. We are excited to see this tech reach Phase II and beyond!
