C5BDI connects USAF Luke AFB and Albuquerque, NM small business on a $2.25M SBIR Phase III to decrease burden on Air Force civil engineering units who are already stretched thin and under-manned and correct deficiencies in utility systems identified through infrastructure assessments. This technology started as an AFWERX SBIR Open Call and again shows the true ROI of the AFWERX Open Call program with so many technologies going to Phase III! For this effort, contractor and gov’t look to improve decision making to help the DoD operate more efficiently, protecting assets and personnel, while saving money. The effort includes accelerating construction through established performance goals and measures for work zones, reducing lengthy project completion times thereby reducing construction costs and executing proposed construction projects that are reasonably priced and scoped. This is a big lift and one that Luke AFB, the small business and AFWERX team are excited to tackle! Best of luck from the C5BDI Team!
